How it works

Sessions are normally on a weekly or fornightly basis, but you can request more frequent sessions if this suits you better. Regular sessions are £10 cheaper than infrequent ones.

After each session, I send an email with a brief summary of the session, plans for the next one and the invoice to be paid before the next session. The payment details are on this invoice and I request payments through bank transfer.

Before your first session, I request that you let me know what grade you are targetting and a topic you would like to begin with. If I haven’t taught you before, an optional consultation is available for half of the price of a normal session. This will give you the chance to meet me (online) and ask any questions you may have and will allow me to better target my teaching to meet your needs.

The lessons are all online, you need a device with internet connectivity, a pen/pencil, paper and a calculator as well as a positive attitude for each lesson. I will send the link by email before the first session and this link will generally stay the same each session.

Cancellations of Scheduled sessions

If you need to cancel for whatever reason, we will try to reschedule during the week or double up on the next week. If this is not possible, you may still be charged the session fee to retain your regular slot if this happens more than once (I need to keep the lights on afterall).

Missed appointments are charged at 100% of the normal session fee. Continued missed appointments may result in your regular slot being offered to someone else.
